A view of the Finisterre light house how a sailer normally doesn't get it.
We did this land side trip to Finisterre since we are waiting for better winds to go continue our trip down to Portugal. At the moment they are constantly blowing from the south.
Another picture of Finisterre from land side. The place is the end of the famous pilgrimage that passes some 60 km before through Santiago De Compostela.
Many pilgrims burn their clothes up there on the rocks. Since moderne wardrobe is mostly of polyester it smells of burned plastics all over the place. At the pole on the picture some depose there shoes they probably made their pilgrimage with. But they are not to be meant to stay there for a long time (the shoes). Once in a while a men from probably nearby comes and takes the better pairs with him.
